The Schropfer Consulting Group was established to improve the competitiveness of entrepreneurial businesses by adapting and implementing the thinking behind best practices developed in academia, at large corporations, and by practitioners.

Frank Schropfer

Frank Schropfer is a recognized expert in helping entrepreneurial businesses through inflection points. As president of The Schropfer Consulting Group, a boutique management consulting firm focused on entrepreneurial businesses of all sizes, Frank has helped business leaders adapt to rapid growth in the size of their business, expand product and service offerings, acquire other companies, attract investment, and make transformational improvements in marketing and operations. Combining street smarts in emerging business and formal education in best practices, Frank brings a practical perspective when framing strategic decisions and accomplishing results by aligning finance, marketing, operations, and product development.

Frank’s expertise builds on 15 years of experience in engineering, Fortune 100 business management, private equity, and management consulting. Prior to founding The Schropfer Consulting Group, Frank sourced and evaluated over 200 businesses for acquisition, was the finance and business manager of a $30 million operation for Northrop Grumman, and held engineering and innovation roles at General Motors.

Frank received a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with honor from the University of Wyoming. He lives in Old Town Alexandria with his wife and son.
